Business description
Yageo manufactures passive components for electronic devices. Passive components are necessary for all electronic circuits; they are used to stabilize and control the flow of electricity and to remove electromagnetic noise from the circuit. Yageo's main products are multilayer ceramic capacitors, chip resistors, inductors, and tantalum capacitors, which rank third, first, third, and first, respectively, in global production volume. The company has recently been actively pursuing M&A opportunities to diversify its business portfolio and make the company more resilient to economic fluctuations.
