The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve this objective by taking long and short positions primarily in equities or equity related derivative contracts of a broad technology related sector. Access to this sector will initially, be gained by holding units in the GAM Star Alpha Technology Fund until such time that funds under management are sufficient to hold equity positions directly.
